Great Experience
My dog was injured and had to have surgery. I submitted all the necessary information via the very user friendly app.....days later I had my refund. Great experience and so thankful for this policy!

Trupanion has been wonderful to us
Trupanion has been wonderful to us. I just had to put my 15.5 year old Cocker Spaniel Cosby to sleep. Cosby had a lot of health issues in the last few years and was being treated at Angell Medical Center in Boston. Everyone I dealt with at Trupanion was fabulous. They were always caring and willing to help me. Trupanion covered a lot of costs for Cosby's care. Without them, I don't think I would have been ever to afford it. Thanks so much for all you have done.

Ear infections are preexisting conditions.
Trupanion refuses to cover ear infections as preexisting conditions. In other words, because my puppy had an ear infection before I purchased my policy, Trupanion refuses to cover any subsequent ear infection, no matter how much later or unrelated to the earlier infection. Even after my vet sent an appeal letter to explain that the subsequent infection was unrelated to the original infection, I've still been denied coverage. Save your money. These people are a nightmare to deal with.

Humans Should Have This Kind Of Coverage!
I've had 2 cats covered with Healthy Paws for 5 years now. I'm jealous of the kind of coverage that my cats have, and wish that I could get the same kind of healthcare for myself in America. They've NEVER failed to pay exactly what my plan says they're supposed to pay. I've racked up some exorbitant bills over the years, and Healthy Paws have been a life saver.
