Diarrhea issues.
I’m extremely disappointed at the unwillingness of Trupanion to cover a claim regarding my puppy’s digestive issues which seem to come and go. Trupanion has concluded unfairly that the issues are pre-existing. I strongly disagree as the occurrences are not continuously sustained. It’s difficult for me to recommend Trupanion at this time.

Great Pet Insurance!
I took a on this pet insurance solely based off of online reviews and a friend's recommendation. Lemonade pet insurance did not let me down. They cover a lot of wellness exams for my pets that most do not. It was hassle free to be reimbursed too.

A dog's life made better and longer
We first had Mazie as a one-year old foster. I had a feeling she'd be trouble after discovering she was pregnant and fostering her and her 11 puppies. I signed her up when I adopted her after "foster fail." After 10 years, Trupanion has helped me keep Mazie going through two TPLO surgeries and now an ongoing battle with Valley Fever. They treated the two TPLO issues as one, so I didn't have to pay two deductibles, just one. Mazie fought through Valley Fever a few years ago with 18 months of expensive meds and expensive blood test checks. The valley fever has come back and is affecting the bone in her elbow, and Trupanion is again there for us, paying 90% for X-rays in addition to the meds and tests. Customer care is excellent, with claims paid in about 3 days. God Bless Trupanion!

Slow to respond
I had to submit numerous claims for my pup. All were delayed, but Pets best let me know that about two weeks after. 1 said they needed more info which I provided, only to hear back 10 days later that they needed more info and requested the same info. I called, waited on hold for 50 mins, finally spoke to someone, so hopefully it gets taken care of.

Trupanion has been better than I ever…
Trupanion has been better than I ever could have imagined! We will be a member for life with all of my animals! My dog had bilateral cruciate injuries and trupanion paid the vet directly which took a lot of stress away. Trupanion response time is amazing and their evaluation of claims is efficient and fair. We love Trupanion!!!

Reliable
I have never been disappointed by Trupanion. I had 2 boxers one of which we lost after a painful battle with cancer. Many tests and treatments, thousands of dollars. We never had to wait, we were not challenged ever. Made the process doable and made our family feel we had done all we could. Same with the day to day care of Tyson. Always reliable, no delays. It’s really important that any insurance company does their job in that manner and this is one of the few that do. Better than my own insurance!
