While Trupanion helps greatly with my pet’s meds, the annual checkup is expensive & not covered at all. Wish something could be arranged to help with that.

Because of COVID there have been slower responses. My experience with Pets Best has been excellent and I have accepted the delays understanding the circumstances. Always a prompt acknowledgement of claim and explanation for delay. Would recommend.

So Grateful for Trupanion Insurance
We have had Trupanion insurance for our 10 year old Pomeranian since 4 months of age. So happy we decided to go with this company. During the past 4 months Rusty has been dealing with a very serious condition that has required constant Vet care and hospitalization for critical care. I have been submitting bills weekly and Trupanion has paid quickly which has reduced stress due to financial concerns. Well worth what we have paid over the years in monthly premiums. Would not be without insurance for my beloved Pet.

Takes a long time to get reimbursed
Takes a long time to get reimbursed, if any. Does not reach out to get more information. Just denies the claim. Also extremely long hold times on the phone. I also filed 2 appeals and never heard back.

Don’t get Phil…
I had a guy name Phil that was helping me. I could tell that this company wasn’t going to be the best due to his attitude. The way he handled the call is going to make me question every step I make going forward with this company. You are suppose to make the customer feel at home and not like they can’t afford the price that you are setting before them. He might need some real training on that. It wasn’t until he found out I was prior military then he started to have a change of heart which is sad.
