I purchased Trupanion when my dachshund was a puppy and when she aged and had multiple health issues, Trupanion paid my vet directly, within minutes. They have consistently met my expectations paying 90% including medications on almost all claims

My dog went to the veterinarian for an ear infection and to get some flea medicine. I had to resend the exact info three times. Then they told me to stop resending. They’re the ones who asked for it. I’m still waiting for some kind of refund. I pay my bill every month. They make sure they get their money but don’t seem to act on claims. 😡

Over 14 years with Trupanion
We have used Trupanion for over 14 years now. We have had coverage on 2 dogs, 2 cats and now we are adding to our fur family. We highly recommend using Trupanion as they have always been extremely respectful and efficient when we have had to use their services. The Trupanion's staff have always been extremely professionalism and it is odvious that they are all pet lovers.

Reimbursement
They have good rates, the only reason I didn't give them five stars is because they're reimbursement takes so long to be completed. I normally have to wait about a month and a half for reimbursement.

My Corgi puppy fractured his femur and required surgery. I submitted my claims. I was kept informed of the status of these claims. I had 4 in total. The process was really simple. I uploaded the invoices and his medical records. I received my reimbursements within 14 days. The staff at Healthy Paws are both professional and personable. I received an email from the staff checking on Jasper recovery the other day. This is an amazing company!

We have two French Bulldogs and one English Bulldog and when you love your pets you take care of them to the best of your ability. We are so grateful to have Healthy Paws on our team when it comes to caring for our furry babies. No matter how small or large our medical problems have been, the peace of mind that we have knowing that Healthy Paws is on our side is PRICELESS! Any time a friend tells me that they are considering a puppy (or kitty) into their lives I always tell them to immediately get them on a health insurance plan.....because you never know when or what will come your way but with Healthy Paws you don't need to worry about whether or not you can afford to give your fur babies the best options. Absolutely an extremely dishonest scam organization that denies claims it advertises that it covers. Even after a Veterinarian spent considerable time writing an appeal this fraudulent faux insurance company denied the claim. May an eagle deficate on all of you!
