Since I mentioned that I was a past Canadian policy holder when I transitioned Liam from the US to the Canadian policy, I was not expecting an sign up fee. It seemed like I had to get snarky with your company for them to check my past policy and, indeed realize that I was not a new client. That could have been handled more efficiently, faster, and with less attitude than it did. I also should mention that I am a veterinarian and that we are the profession that gets you most of your clients through our recommendations when a client asks about insurance for their pets. This should translate into not only respect but also a professional discount as there are more and more pet insurance companies to choose from and we hold the choice for which company our clients choose.

I have a new kitten and I needed to be assured that any information needed by Trupanion is received prior to use of policy. (And what information IS needed.).

The premium prices are way too expensive. I'm probably going to cancel soon.

It was great that Trupanion covered 90% of my dog's spinal surgery because I wouldn't have been able to afford it otherwise. But I am now strapped with very high bills for rehab & was never told that rehab was a separate monthly fee upfront or I would have paid it.

Shina was lovely. I was calling to find out why the rate for my cat skyrocketed 60%. She spoke with a supervisor -- there was no clear reasoning -- we haven't even filed a claim yet. Disappointed in Trupanion not Shina our rep. Moderate rate increases are acceptable -- within 10%, which is what Trupanion did with our dog. 60% is not. No we will not be recommending Trupanion to friends.

Tim was great but I am not at all happy with the outcome.

I love Trupanion but this time it took 6 time to get a claim for chewy eye drops and I am still waiting not used to this usually Trupanion is right on top of everything but this time they have dropped the ball ... but I still till everyone one I know with a pet to get Trupanion
