My family has been a loyal member of ASPCA Pet Health Insurance for almost 10 years now and I can say it was the best decision I ever made for my bulldog. As a new dog mom you always want to ensure the best care for your new baby. After a few years and a healthy bulldog I called to see about cancelling my policy. The agent walked me through my concerns, listened to me ration if it was worth the investment etc. They were so genuine in caring for the well being of my pet in the future, I decided to not cancel. It was the best partnership decision I have ever made. Sadly just a couple years later my bully had some medical concerns and ASPCA Pet Health Insurance was with us every step of the way. They were fair in the reimbursements, followed up with any questions I had and were always available. I can honestly say I have the peace of mind of taking my bully to the vet knowing she will receive the care she needs without mommy going into bankruptcy. I believe in the company so much, we just got a new bully member to the family and we have just signed her up as well. I really don't know what I would have done if I didn't have Healthy paws. I've been paying for insurance for the past 3 years for both of my dogs - and actually hoping I would never have to use it - only because I've never had the experience before and I wasn't sure how it would work out. One of my dogs had an accident and needed double knee surgery. He was in pain and thank God for Healthy paws they processed the refund so quickly and they also sent me periodic emails asking about how our dog was doing - the rep I talked to on the phone was helpful and very sympathetic. This has been a great experience.

I have the wellness plan with Pets plus us and I recently made a claim for my puppy to cover the cost of his neutering. When we adopted Stanley the first thing we did was get pet insurance. I never wanted to be in a position of not being able to take him to the vet to receive the care he needed because I didn't have enough money. We've had the insurance for almost three years and I've needed to use it three different times. They were always friendly and helpful in reimbursing us for the expenses incurred, in accordance with the policy. The money is even deposited directly to my bank account as soon as it was approved!
