I have had Trupanion pet insurance since I got my rescue dog, Annabelle in February, 2011. A year later I noticed she was limping & I took her to my vet. He diagnosed her with 2 trick knees (rear legs) requiring surgery. She had the 1st surgery March, 2012 & the 2nd one in May, 2012. Each surgery was over $2600.00. The ease at which this was handled was amazing. My vet submitted the bills to Trupanion, & they covered all expenses at 90% which they sent directly to the Vet. I paid the balance of 10%. In addition, my Vet recommended a joint supplement to be given to Annabelle daily & Trupanion reimburses me at 90% when I submit my, bills. And the most amazing part is they actually send me a letter thanking me for taking such good care of Annabelle. Also their staff are professional, courteous & extremely helpful. They are simply the best.

trupanion is always fast, and take a vested interest in how my furbaby is recovering. I would and have recommended them to many people looking into vet insurance because they are amazing to deal with. My last claim was completed in 2 working days!

When you adopt an older pet, health issues are a concern. Fortunately, my veterinarian recommended Trupanion. When my pet was injured, Trupanion came through and picked up 90 percent of the surgery costs, minus the deductible of course.

My 8 1/2 yard old cat, Leopold, has had a long history of chronic allergies and diabetes. Trupanion has always reimbursed me quickly and fairly. Leopold was diagnosed recently with kidney disease and was hospitalized for 6 days. The bill came to $5100 and Trupanion processed the claim that Sam day and reimbursed me for $4300. I'm happy to say Leopold recovered and is doing great. Trupanion continues to reimburse me quickly for all of Leopold's new medications as well as his ongoing diabetes an allergy medications. They are the best!

Because of your generosity and that of all of the other animal owners paying into Trupanion, I've been able to get the medical attention that Toby has needed to keep his young vibrant life going. When we get him stabilized, and I don't need the insurance money again (hopefully for a long long time), I know my monthly premium will help someone else get medical treatment for the pet they love. As Sophie gets older, I am seeing some changes in her... she's a little slower.. doesn't hear as well (that could be selective). She has been diagnosed with Cushing's Disease and her meds are a healthy chunk every month. Thank goodness for Trupanion - they covered her diagnosis and her treatment promptly and efficiently. They have even checked to see how she is doing! What peace of mind I have as she ages... but she will probably be her for a long while just out of spite.
