Also, Jordan - asked me if I’d liked welcome packets mailed out for my other 2 dogs while I was asking a few questions and totally forgot to reply to him. I definitely wanted them mailed out, but had so many questions to ask that it slipped my mind to respond back. Jordan had followed up with me and asked if I’d still like the packets mailed out and I was so happy he did! Trupanion is amazing and I constantly refer anyone and everyone to them.

Ashlynn was very pleasant, however Trupanion was unable to provide me with the information I was asking for. I am looking to insure my three FIV+ cats and wanted to know what would NOT be covered due to their FIV status prior to insuring them and trupanion could not provide that info. I was willing to pay full price knowing I was getting limited coverage because I fully believe in pet insurance (my dogs are insured with trupanion), but since they couldn't tell me what would not be covered, I fear trupanion would try and say ANY disease my cats get is from FIV. I am vet and I know certain conditions should not be covered, but since they were unwilling to provide this info in writing, I decided not to insure them. My worst nightmare is paying for three cats' insurance for the next 18 years to only find out trupanion won't cover anything for them.
