Excellent

Although my cat is only two years old, she hashad many health issues. Trupanion has taken the time to review any claim issues we have had and will cover her hip dysplasia operation recommended by her vet.

Trupanion comes through for Zeke!

I was in the first month of paid coverage for my dog Zeke when he tore his cranial cruciate ligament. Zeke had surgery involving a steel plate and pins, and Trupanion paid the claim within 2 weeks of my sending it in.

Cherry Eye and coverage

Well, my first ever pet insurance claim went smoothly with Trupanion. I own an English Bulldog who is proned to health issues, and at the age of 8 months, she just had her first major issue...cherry eye. It was an 800 surgery with a precheck of 120/medicine and a f/u visit $. I submitted claims and had to pay 100 deductible on the various claims and then they issued reimbursement of 90% as promised on their literature without any antogonizing f/u required. Our Diabetic Dog

Our dog has just been diagnosed with Diabetes. We are in the stage of getting her blood sugars down. This will take a few weeks and a couple more trips to the vet. I am so happy that I purchased pet insurance when Tia was a pup. Without Trupanian insurance we would have been very taxed as our dog has a multitude of problems. Thanks Trupanian.

Coverage

Payout Limits

Unlimited lifetime payouts on eligible conditions with no payout limits-ever.

Deductible

You can choose your deductible from $0 – $1000, in $5 increments, to fit your budget. Trupanion offers a lifetime, per condition deductible meaning that once the deductible is met for an eligible condition, you never have to meet it again. That condition is covered for life. This is great for chronic conditions that can span the entirety of a pet’s life such as allergies or cancer.

Age Limits

All pets under 14 years old can enroll. Once enrolled, pets stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Accidents: 5 days Illnesses: 30 days Other providers may have additional waiting periods for congenital conditions like hip dysplasia, Trupanion does not.

Exclusions

Trupanion was developed to protect you and your pet from unexpected illnesses and injuries.
