Excellent!!! Turpainion is the Best!!!

My family just adopted 2 puppies in June. I covered both with Trupanion because I got a one month free trial with one puppy. I have had high vet bills in the past with previous pets so decided to keep it and cover both. Thank God I did because one puppy contracted parvo although he was given all of his shots to prevent it. It was very expensive (over $5K) to nurse him back to health because he had to be in 24 hour care for over 6 days. Trupanion saved the day for me and right before Christmas and my claim paid back over 80% of the overall costs. It was the first claim I ever made with pet insurance and every time I called for help with the claim all of the people I talked to were so helpful and compassionate. They were patient with me and always answered all my questions plus all of them told me they would be thinking of my sweet puppy and wished him the best. Because of them I was able to get through the entire horrible ordeal and my puppy is back to being a happy and healthy 10 month old puppy again. I will never own another pet without Trupanion. I have recommended them to lots of people I know and told everyone at the vet offices to refer other pet owners to them. THEY ARE THE BEST!!!! THANK YOU TRUPANION!!!!

Quick service

My newfoundland has had 2 cruciate surgeries and recently broke one of her premolars which required removal. Trupanion has been there for each and every issue I have had and has processed and paid out our claims very quickly.

The BEST insurance for your dog

My 1 yr old dog started limping & turned out she had severe hip dysplasia in both hips. She needed double hip surgery. Trupanion has been a godsend. They are paying 90% of her surgery, all her meds, even her glucosamine chews. Now she is in rehab to help her get a full recovery, which is also covered. I never could have done all of this for my dog without them. It has made a stressful time easier. I highly recommend this company & getting insurance for your dog! My dog is a shelter rescue got her at 8 weeks & would never have guessed she would have hip dysplasia.

Start to finish Trupanion was there for us. They made the whole experience easy and stress free . I honestly feel that they truly care about ours dogs well being. I've been working with Stella and she has been such a pleasure to work with she is friendly amd knowledgable. She treatsy wife and I like family and cared about our dogs as if they are hers.

Wonderful Insurance

Our little Yorkie, Rocky had a really hard time with pancreatitis. He had to be taken to our regular vet. four different times and then to the emergency vet and a specialist. Trupanion has been wonderful paying for the services we had to have to help Rocky. I would highly recommend this insurance.

Coverage

Payout Limits

Unlimited lifetime payouts on eligible conditions with no payout limits-ever.

Deductible

You can choose your deductible from $0 – $1000, in $5 increments, to fit your budget. Trupanion offers a lifetime, per condition deductible meaning that once the deductible is met for an eligible condition, you never have to meet it again. That condition is covered for life. This is great for chronic conditions that can span the entirety of a pet’s life such as allergies or cancer.

Age Limits

All pets under 14 years old can enroll. Once enrolled, pets stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Accidents: 5 days Illnesses: 30 days Other providers may have additional waiting periods for congenital conditions like hip dysplasia, Trupanion does not.

Exclusions

Trupanion was developed to protect you and your pet from unexpected illnesses and injuries.
