Trupanion saved our lives!

Trupanion has helped us take care of our cavalier King Charles spaniel more than we would have ever been able to. Since she was 3 months old she has experienced one health problem after another some very life threatening and some that just required major surgeries (seizures, eosinophillic pneumonia, luxating patellas, and various bladder issues and minor issues). Throughout the short four years that we have had our dog, we have never had to question what is best for Sophie because we always knew that Trupanion was there to help us provide Sophie with the best care possible. Each and every time that we file a claim or file for pre-approval before big surgeries and diagnostic testing, Trupanion has always approved our claims is an extremely timely manner and have always approved our claims. We wouldn't have Sophie with us anymore if it wasn't for Trupanion and we seriously owe them more than we could ever give! Thank you just doesn't cover how grateful we are for the amazing services and customer care that Trupanion provides to their clients. Thank you for letting us have a wonderful long life with our four legged baby!!

Trupanion is totally worth it!

My dog came down with vestibular disorder (we first thought it was seizures). Vestibular disorder can be caused by a tumor, and because of Trupanion we were able to get an MRI done, which showed that there was no tumor and nothing wrong with her inner ear system. So it's just old age that brought it on. Having the peace of mind that it's not a tumor is awesome. While we were at the Vet discussing getting an MRI done, Trupanion talked with my vet and said they would cover the MRI and hospitalization needed for my dog. I appreciate their quick response. And the vestibular disorder has fortunately gone into remission for the most part, so my dog is much better.

Best insurance ever

After the first $500 for any one incident, Trupanion pays 90% and pays very quickly. I have 3 dogs covered with them ( 7, 10 and 12 years old).

Coverage

Payout Limits

Unlimited lifetime payouts on eligible conditions with no payout limits-ever.

Deductible

You can choose your deductible from $0 – $1000, in $5 increments, to fit your budget. Trupanion offers a lifetime, per condition deductible meaning that once the deductible is met for an eligible condition, you never have to meet it again. That condition is covered for life. This is great for chronic conditions that can span the entirety of a pet’s life such as allergies or cancer.

Age Limits

All pets under 14 years old can enroll. Once enrolled, pets stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Accidents: 5 days Illnesses: 30 days Other providers may have additional waiting periods for congenital conditions like hip dysplasia, Trupanion does not.

Exclusions

Trupanion was developed to protect you and your pet from unexpected illnesses and injuries.
