Hi there ,Trupanion has looked after my dog Attilas well being since her puppy years. You have been there from a energency surgery to her full time allergy prescription otherwise unable to afford. Best customer service and more than thankful I could ever be. Thanks Trupanion

Fast and easy
It is so easy that I can email the claim form to the vet get filled right there and then fax it to Trupanion and within one or two days I have the claim cleared and deposited into my bank account. Very fast and efficient service. Thank you

Excellent service and prompt payments
I have been a customer now for over four years. Trupanion has paid out over $20,000 to me in that time -- usually within 24 hours of submitting the claims. They have made it so that when my dog (who has several health issues) is sick, and I need to determine whether or not a treatment is appropriate, cost isn't a factor. I have periodically reviewed other insurance providers to make sure that Trupanion is the best fit for me, and I've never seen a policy that is as rich and all-encompassing. Client for life.

Best Pet Insurance Available!
Have tried other plans. This is the best coverage, most efficient, hassle-free that I've found. Just take your claim form to the treating hospital to be completed by attending vet, they fax it directly to the insurance company, receipt of claim by company is acknowledged by email, processing of the claim is reported by email, and payment is sent quickly.
Monthly Cost
Monthly cost varies due to multiple factors including: species, breed, age at enrollment, gender, and postal code.
Coverage
One simple plan covers new injuries and illnesses, hereditary, congenital, and chronic conditions—once the deductible is met, Trupanion pays 90% of the remaining invoice.

Payout Limits
Unlimited lifetime payouts on eligible conditions with no payout limits-ever.
Deductible
You can choose your deductible from $0 – $1000, in $5 increments, to fit your budget.
Trupanion offers a lifetime, per condition deductible meaning that once the deductible is met for an eligible condition, you never have to meet it again. That condition is covered for life. This is great for chronic conditions that can span the entirety of a pet’s life such as allergies or cancer.
Age Limits
All pets under 14 years old can enroll.
Once enrolled, pets stay insured regardless of age.
Waiting Period
Accidents: 5 days
Illnesses: 30 days
Other providers may have additional waiting periods for congenital conditions like hip dysplasia, Trupanion does not.
Exclusions
Trupanion was developed to protect you and your pet from unexpected illnesses and injuries. That means we don’t cover “predictable” care costs that you can plan ahead for, like:
Examination fees
Wellness and preventive care
Elective, or cosmetic procedures
Sales tax, where applicable
Like all pet insurance providers, Trupanion does not cover pre-existing conditions. Whichever insurer you choose, it pays to enroll early!
