Couldn't have helped my boy without you guys!!

Buy this insurance. Don't even think about going with anyone else. My boy has been through so much with his allergies. I've had to spend thousands helping him, and trupanion has come through every single time, quickly, without questions, and honestly, I don't know what I would've done without them. They are so helpful and friendly. I couldn't be happier and will never adopt a pet without partnering with trupanion. Thank you all.

What a comfort

I have 2 dogs. Both insured with Trupanion. One is my problem child, the other extremely healthy. Trupanion has helped me with the medical expenses for my female who has had bilateral knee surgery and resulting arthritis. She's only 3 1/2 years old, has allergies and anal gland problems in addition to the ongoing knee problems. Thank goodness for Trupanion! They are a wonderful company (and I have other pet insurance with my previous generations of dog and cats) and have continued to help with her medical care.

Eternally grateful for having Trupanion.

Every interaction I've had with the people at Trupanion has been a positive experience. I feel like they understand me and care about my pet. If I did not have Trupanion, I'd have had to put down my Isabel months ago. I have recommended Trupanion to all of my friends and co-workers without any hesitation. The website is very good, too.I will have Trupanion for all of my pets in the future, without a doubt.

Trupanion is the best!

Thank you so much for great insurance and even better customer service! We've had two claims, they are processed very quickly. Trupanion is the first pet insurance we've used, and we will continue to choose it for each dog we add to our family. Our pug was saved twice because we were able to get the care he needed with Trupanion. I'm so glad our vet recommended it at our puppies first visit.

Excellent Customer Service

I have been impressed with Trupanion's fast response when I submit a claim and their Customer Service when I have called with a question. When I submit a claim, I get an emailed confirmation right away. When they are reimbursing me, I get an email with the amount and the check arrives within a week. I did get preauthorization when my dog had knee surgery which helps on processing additional related claims and reimbursement.

Coverage

Payout Limits

Unlimited lifetime payouts on eligible conditions with no payout limits-ever.

Deductible

You can choose your deductible from $0 – $1000, in $5 increments, to fit your budget. Trupanion offers a lifetime, per condition deductible meaning that once the deductible is met for an eligible condition, you never have to meet it again. That condition is covered for life. This is great for chronic conditions that can span the entirety of a pet’s life such as allergies or cancer.

Age Limits

All pets under 14 years old can enroll. Once enrolled, pets stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Accidents: 5 days Illnesses: 30 days Other providers may have additional waiting periods for congenital conditions like hip dysplasia, Trupanion does not.

Exclusions

Trupanion was developed to protect you and your pet from unexpected illnesses and injuries.
