Best Investment

It's almost too good to be true. The claim submission process is SO easy, and reimbursement arrives within one week. They communicate regarding claim status throughout the process. We've had several claims, and every time has been a piece of cake! Thank you!!

Extremely pleased with Trupanion

My spouse and I waffled on whether or not to even get Pet Insurance, but with a new puppy getting into everything we thought we'd at least invest in insurance for the first few years.At 15 months old our English Lab was diagnosed with cancer (osteosarcoma) and thanks to our investment in Trupanion we've been able to provide the best treatment available. This experience is a difficult one, regardless of your pets age, but it's been made easier knowing that we can focus our attention on our pup, not haggling over insurance coverage or wait times. Claims are paid within days of filing which keeps the financial stress to a minimum. Trupanion has been an invaluable investment and I couldn't be happier with their dedicated customer service team.

Outstanding!

Trupanion is nothing short of the most professional firm I have EVER worked with. Their clamS management process takes just 2 or 3 days to post a claim payment to my bank. Unbelievable indeed!

Trupanion has provide the service they promised

We decided to get pet insurance for our puppy (Casey) when we got him at 8 weeks of age - I did my research and settled on Trupanion. Over the years we have had small claims and they have always been paid. This year sadly Casey - who is now almost 9 years old - was diagnosed with lung cancer - he has had surgury to remove a lung lobe and the tumor. This involved many tests up to and including a CT scan all of this was covered as stated. He is now in his 2nd round of Chemo - also being covered. Trupanion has done exactly what they said they would cover - 90 % before tax on all treatments and required prescription drugs - this means on a total bill with tax you pay 23% and Trupanion pays 77% - without the help of Trupanion our cost would have been beyond what we could afford - with there help - Casey has a fighting chance now - we will never have a dog without pet insurance and will most likely always be with Trupanion

Life saving

With out trupanion I would not be able to afford to give my golden retriever who I cherish more than anything he care he needs and deserves. Trupanion is honest, fast, very dependable, organized and friendly. I recommend to anyone who has a pet to get Trupanion.

Coverage

Payout Limits

Unlimited lifetime payouts on eligible conditions with no payout limits-ever.

Deductible

You can choose your deductible from $0 – $1000, in $5 increments, to fit your budget. Trupanion offers a lifetime, per condition deductible meaning that once the deductible is met for an eligible condition, you never have to meet it again. That condition is covered for life. This is great for chronic conditions that can span the entirety of a pet’s life such as allergies or cancer.

Age Limits

All pets under 14 years old can enroll. Once enrolled, pets stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Accidents: 5 days Illnesses: 30 days Other providers may have additional waiting periods for congenital conditions like hip dysplasia, Trupanion does not.

Exclusions

Trupanion was developed to protect you and your pet from unexpected illnesses and injuries.
