Trupanion always has a caring service

My cat Atticus had to go through a series of tests to determine why there was increased hunger and weight loss. Finally biopsy through surgery classified the problem as lymphoma.A specialist has evaluated the problem and feels that he would be a good candidate for chemo. I'm doing the best that I can for my cat and, fortunately, we have Trupanion. Likewise, Trupanion is doing the best for me as the owner. The service received is incredible and I'm very appreciative of it.

Our claim was paid in less than a week.

Got a confirmation email pre-approving our claim after one phone call, made a second phone call to confirm the submission of our vet bills and the claim was paid in a a few days. The process could not have been easier and customer service was excellent!

Best decision since arrival of my pet!

I have only had my chihuahua a few years, unfortunately she has developed problems with a collapsing trachea and is more prone to upper respiratory infections. She is a little fighter and is doing much better but I am extremely grateful for the assistance and security trupanion has provided for us. This has been an excellent decision to maintain.

Exceptional care and coverage

Consistently, Trupanion exceeds any and all expectations. We have two Great Danes. Winston is 3 1/2 and Salem is one and a half years old. Initially we did not get coverage for Winston when he was a puppy. He had many G.I. issues during his first year. When we got Salem we continued our 30 day coverage provided from our vet, Stuart animal hospital, immediately! She has wobblers disease, she has had two MRIs, she has needed acupuncture many many visits to the vet and we are looking at surgery. Trupaniin has covered more than I ever anticipated! We have already received a pre-authorization for her surgery. The care and compassion of the staff at Trupanion has been exemplary.

Coverage

Payout Limits

Unlimited lifetime payouts on eligible conditions with no payout limits-ever.

Deductible

You can choose your deductible from $0 – $1000, in $5 increments, to fit your budget. Trupanion offers a lifetime, per condition deductible meaning that once the deductible is met for an eligible condition, you never have to meet it again. That condition is covered for life. This is great for chronic conditions that can span the entirety of a pet’s life such as allergies or cancer.

Age Limits

All pets under 14 years old can enroll. Once enrolled, pets stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Accidents: 5 days Illnesses: 30 days Other providers may have additional waiting periods for congenital conditions like hip dysplasia, Trupanion does not.

Exclusions

Trupanion was developed to protect you and your pet from unexpected illnesses and injuries.
