Best Insurance!!

Our dog Rupert was unexpectedly diagnosed with hip dysplasia. He was painful and no longer running and enjoying his walks because his hips hurt. We were able to get both hips repaired with Trupanion covering 90% of the surgery!!!! The total ended up being $1900 Trupanion covered and we paid $200! Wow! 200 dollars to have both hips repaired. We are so thankful we signed him up when he was a baby!

The staff at Trupanion really shows that they care for your pet. Many that I have spoken to, have pets of their own.

Trupanion employees love what they do and it shows

I'm so grateful for this this company! My rescue dog is 6 years old and has gone through two ACL surgeries. Without the help of Trupanion I can't imagine what my stress level would have been if I'd had the financial burden on top of the emotional burden of having my dog go through two surgeries and recovery! They even follow up after every claim to check in and see how your pet is doing! Every person I've talked to at this company is so incredibly sincere. I recommend them to every one I know who has a pet.

Always there for me

Thank you so much for always being there for me when I need you the most. I've used you twice now and you came through and helped me tremendously. The last claim was about $1,300 and I received over $800.00 back from you in a timely manner. I was even able to submit a pre-claim form. So glad I chose you guys!

I recommend Trupanion

I have an 8 year old Bulldog with allergies, so he has to be seen by the doc regularly and takes medication daily. Recently he was diagnosed with a corneal abrasion. I took him to the doc and they recommended that the abrasion be debrided(?) and a bandage contact lens inserted. The claim was handled within 7 days of my faxing Trupanion the bill.

Coverage

Payout Limits

Unlimited lifetime payouts on eligible conditions with no payout limits-ever.

Deductible

You can choose your deductible from $0 – $1000, in $5 increments, to fit your budget. Trupanion offers a lifetime, per condition deductible meaning that once the deductible is met for an eligible condition, you never have to meet it again. That condition is covered for life. This is great for chronic conditions that can span the entirety of a pet’s life such as allergies or cancer.

Age Limits

All pets under 14 years old can enroll. Once enrolled, pets stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Accidents: 5 days Illnesses: 30 days Other providers may have additional waiting periods for congenital conditions like hip dysplasia, Trupanion does not.

Exclusions

Trupanion was developed to protect you and your pet from unexpected illnesses and injuries.
