Trupanion is always there when you need them!!

I love Trupanion because I never have to worry when I take my cat Bello in for medical treatment for I know we will be covered. I've had my policy for 2 1/2 years and it's the best thing I could have ever invested in to protect my pet and my pet !!!

amazing

trupanion was amazing, efficient, compassionate. i got emails through ever step of the process and when i had a question i called and they responded promptly and efficiently. amazing experience. i wish people insurance was so great.

Don't Believe it!

Claim after claim was denied.Lots of running around documenting vet prescribed a drug that 'bout killed the dog ………..naturally the vet skewed their responsibility….however, when the liver function decreased……it was obvious that the drug caused his emergency. Don't waste your money. "Grilled" extensively in efforts to cancel policy. Emergency surgeries are 'bout all I can see that would have been covered. Luckily, I didn't have to experience that.

Trupanion is Great!!

When you submit a claim, Trupanion updates you until the claim is processed by letting you know they are still working on it. They have great communication with you and that is really a nice thing! If you email them with a question, they always get back with you quickly to answer any question you may have! I highly recommend Trupanion!

Roman was saved without wiping me out

My big dog Roman went down hard with a herniated disk in his neck. He was largely paralyzed and could not stand or walk. Fortunately I had taken the precaution of insuring him and I happen to live near one of the finest Veterinary Hospitals in the country. Within a week, he was walking again and Trupanion paid the bulk of the cost. My settlement required that I turn in a form to the hospital with my name, email address (which identified my account) and name of my pet and one month later I got the check.

Coverage

Payout Limits

Unlimited lifetime payouts on eligible conditions with no payout limits-ever.

Deductible

You can choose your deductible from $0 – $1000, in $5 increments, to fit your budget. Trupanion offers a lifetime, per condition deductible meaning that once the deductible is met for an eligible condition, you never have to meet it again. That condition is covered for life. This is great for chronic conditions that can span the entirety of a pet’s life such as allergies or cancer.

Age Limits

All pets under 14 years old can enroll. Once enrolled, pets stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Accidents: 5 days Illnesses: 30 days Other providers may have additional waiting periods for congenital conditions like hip dysplasia, Trupanion does not.

Exclusions

Trupanion was developed to protect you and your pet from unexpected illnesses and injuries.
