Great comfort in knowing we have Pumpkin

I had to rush my cat Missandei to the emergency vet hospital late one evening. It was scary not knowing what was wrong with her. It was a great comfort to know that she had Pumpkin Pet Insurance. I also love the easy of being able to submit claims online through their app.

My cat was diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism

My cat was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism recently. This has required many tests & consultations with other veterinarians. Having a policy with Pumpkin saved me a LOT of worry & anxiety, without this policy, I don’t know how I would’ve afforded her care. I submitted my veterinary bills to them & within three days, I received payment from them. They do pay ninety percent of what they cover & they cover a lot! I definitely recommend Pumpkin’s pet insurance. It saved me a lot of worry!

I can’t say enough about how wonderful …

I can’t say enough about how wonderful Pumpkin insurance is. My little Maltipoo Marina has been going thru some health issues and having Pumpkin has been such a blessing. Every claim I’ve filed has been paid very quickly, and everyone I’ve spoken to has been extremely nice and helpful. ❤️

Monthly Cost

Plans start as low as $30 per month. Prices vary based on plan type, pet breed, age, and location.

Coverage

Every pet is covered by a 90% reimbursement rate to make it easier to say “yes” to the best possible care.

Payout Limits

Annual limits of $10,000, $20,000 or unlimited for dogs and $7,000, $15,000 or unlimited for cats.

Deductible

3 options: $100, $250, $500 and $1000

Age Limits

No upper age limits. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.

Waiting Period

Insurance coverage begins 14 days after your policy begins for all conditions, including knee/ligament issues where some other policies make you wait 6 months for coverage. No waiting periods for preventive care (in fact, depending on when you received the care, you may be eligible for a retroactive refund).

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. However, unlike some other pet insurances, Pumpkin’s plan covers some curable pre-existing conditions if symptom-free for 180 days, with the exception of knee and ligament conditions. For full terms, visit pumpkin.care/insurancepolicy.
