Assistance with Tory's Lymphoma

In September, Tory was diagnosed with lymphoma with a very short life expectancy with no treatment. The fact that I had insurance is of great comfort to consider treatment which may exceed $15,000. He is taking treatment very well which has extended his life expectancy greatly and we hope to have him for a long time yet. He is a loving companion and everyone in our neighborhood would miss him greatly if we were unable to care for him.

Worst pet insurance you can purchase

Every claim I tried submitting they tried to say was a pre-existing condition or that it was not covered, but it was always covered before. They will do anything to get out of paying you for legitimate claims for your dogs Illness and their last months they had left the meds they required to stay comfortable was consistently denied.. I think is a horrible way to treat a long time customer for 12 years.

Pets + Us...Lifesaver!

I could not be more pleased with Pets Plus Us Insurance, I purchased the policy before bringing my puppy home at 9 weeks old hoping to never have to use the policy, but unfortunately our claims have been a regular occurrence pretty much since day one, and ongoing for the past three years; everything from random illnesses to most recently a $5,000 knee repair surgery. I have never had an issue with a claim and without Pets Plus Us, I don't know how I would have managed to take care of my puppy...specifically the surgical bill. I tell people all the time how great my insurance policy is, I give Pets Plus Us 5 stars all the way!!

Amazing Team

I have been with Pets plus Us through 2 dogs . Anyone I speak to is kind efficient and patient. I highly recommend them . I had a sick dog that eventually died and they helped me a lot .

Monthly Cost

Monthly costs vary based on your pet’s species, age, and location, as well as your chosen plan. Customize coverage to suit your pet’s needs and your budget.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill and includes coverage of exam fees and taxes.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $5,000 in Accident Only coverage, or $7,500 or $15,000 in Accident & Illness coverage annually, depending on your chosen plan.

Deductible

$100 – $700 age-based annual deductible.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. There is no upper age limit.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins after 48 hours for accidents. A policy waiting period of 14 days applies for illnesses.

Exclusions

All pet insurance plans have limitations and exclusions. Medical Conditions that are noted, symptomatic or diagnosed prior to enrollment, or during a waiting period are pre-existing to Coverage and not eligible for reimbursement. All Accident & Illness policies are underwritten upfront so pet owners are aware of any pre-existing conditions that will not be covered prior to making a claim.
