Pets Plus Us | Pet Insurance Review

We own a 2 year old Chesapeake Bay Retriever that was diagnosed with entropion at 6 months. He's needed 3 corrective eye surgeries, not to mention multiple vet visits. Pets Plus Us helped us pay for all of his treatments. They never made us feel bad for claiming and always asked how Walter (our dog) was doing first, before anything else. The insurance has already paid for itself for years to come. Amazing company. I will continue to insure all my pets through Pets Plus Us.

Our dog came with 6 week insurance as a pup. We have never had insurance for our dogs before. Turns out, this particular dog came with parasites and we had a very large vet bill within 2 weeks of getting the dog. Petsplusus covered what the dog was insured for - $1000. Good thing was that when we signed up for continued coverage, none of this was deemed a preexisting condition. We have had a rough year, with numerous vet visits. Having the insurance has been very helpful. Petsplusus has been very professional and straightforward. Am pleased with the company.

I have a 10 year old tabby adopted from the Humane Society, named Howard. He has had several medical issues- chronic renal failure and pancreatitis flare-ups. The coverage for Howard has been excellent during this time and I would not be able to afford to look after him without it. However what strikes me most about this insurance company is the genuine compassion they show while helping you deal with a beloved pet's illnesses, even so far as to have on staff a Veterinarian available for grief counselling which I have used in the past with other pets. I would recommend this insurance company to anyone looking for a company that looks past the dollar bill and really understands how much pets are part of the family.

We have used Pets Plus Us for our 18 month old Golden. He has had some health problems that we didn't anticipate and has also eaten some foreign objects. We have always received out refund and they are fast to respond to any questions I might have.
