Not very pleased to find out the…

Not very pleased to find out the wellness check up is NOT covered in full as I was told. My bill was over $400 and Pets Best didn’t even cover half!!

The best decision i ever made for my Dog

Because of the increased prices of everything today I was recently tempted to cancel Dottie's insurance. So glad I didn't. A few days later she was hospitalized with a stomach problem my vet wasn't happy with diagnosing. Thank God she was still insured and she received wonderful treatment at University of Florida Small Dog hospital. They diagnosed the problem after a series of tests and she is now healthy and I am blessed to have my sweet companion home again. Thank you Pets Best for the excellent service you have given us both.

Good for wellness not so much for emergency

This insurance was great when my puppy needed all her shots, etc. Now she's 11 months old, had an accident while playing which required a visit to an emergency vet hospital. My bill was over $700.00 but I was only reimbursed less than $90.00. I got the accident and illness rider for just this situation and I am not satisfied. I am actually thinking about dropping this rider.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
