Love this company!

Pets Best is a great Insurance Company for pets. Most of the time we get a lot of our money back from the services we have done at our Vet's Office. We recently had her spayed and chipped. We are getting about 1/2 our money back.

I suppose I need to review my policy…

I suppose I need to review my policy and then shop around. I had a policy with another insurer that was half the cost and covered far more. This is now my second or third claim and it seems you get pennies paid back and I am paying over $100/mo for a 5 year old healthy dog!

Peace of mind!!

It's is 100% worth getting Pets Best insurance. They have covered almost all of my emergency vet bills (nearly $3k!) for my 4-year old Pitsky, Mia, who suddenly fell very very ill the other week. The last thing you want to worry about are costs when your furry loved one's life is on the line! I knew I was safely insured so I could do the needed testing and care for her!

I made my first claim and it was…

I made my first claim and it was accepted and paid within 3 weeks. Process was so easy. I uploaded the receipt from my vet and waited. The money was deposited into the account that I had linked.

Highly Recommended!

Admittedly, Pets Best Pet Health Insurance is the only pet insurance we have ever had for our pets, but I can't think of anything I would want to change about it, so I have no incentive to change companies. Our experience with Pets Best has always been positive, and when I have been confused about something, they have been easy to reach, helpful, and friendly in their responses. Based on our experience, I can happily recommend Pets Best!

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
