Coverage that cares

After needing emergency care for my cat, it was an easy process to submit claims and the communication was within a reasonable amount of time and the reimbursement was a huge help. Overall a great 1st time experience . I am pleased I have this insurance for my Fur baby !

flea and tick claim

I submitted a claim for flea and tick care. The claim was initially declined, however, after calling and inquiring I was reimbursed up to my policy limit. Considering this is a yearly claim for the same product, I was a bit surprised.

PETS BEST HAS GIVEN ME THE ASSURANCE AND SECURITY THAT MY PETS ARE GUARANTEED THE BEST CARE. WHETHER IT BE EMERGENCY SITUATIONS OR WELLNESS VISITS, PETS BEST HAS THEM COVERED. WITH THE GUARANTEE OF HAVING THE BEST COVERAGE, IT MAKES EMERGENCY DECISIONS MUCH EASIER BEING ABLE TO ELIMINATE THE FINANCIAL STRAIN AND FOCUS ON WHAT'S BEST FOR MY PETS HEALTH. ALSO WITH THE WELLNESS PLAN OPTIONS, IT MAKES IT MORE AFFORDABLE TO KEEP UP AND MAINTAIN THE YEARLY VET VISITS AND NECESSARY SHOTS AND PREVENTATIVE CARE. Pets best has continued to help us keep our pup in a healthy and happy condition. We were kept informed about delays in handling our claims. It would be helpful if we could get pre-authorizations for treatments and procedures when trying to make larger decisions about procedures and care.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
