Definitely the best!…
I have had pets best on my dogs (mastiffs) for several years and I rave about them to anyone that will listen! From emergencies to chronic conditions, they have always provided seamless coverage for us. I had a different carrier prior to pets best and I switched over after they processed one claim and only reimbursed a fraction of what I paid since they pay what they think something should cost, not what the invoice shows.

I love Pet’s Best
I love Pet’s Best. Submitting a claim is easy, first of all. Time to review a claim may be backed up a bit but is never as long as they say. They cover what you pay for (in terms of your insurance selection and reimbursement percentage, less deductible). Customer service is pleasant to deal with. Reimbursement payment is prompt. Pet insurance is expensive but well worth it if there is a major issue. I had another company insuring a previous dog and I can say Pet’s Best is far easier to work with. Thank you!!!

Best pet insurance
After research, I decided on Pets Best for my cat. It’s the best decision I ever made with an incredible insurance company. The sign-up process was super easy and I did not need to wait for the policy to become effective. I use the wellness benefit right away and was reimbursed in less than 24 hours. I’m so happy I discovered Pets Best.
Monthly Cost
$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.
Coverage
Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible.
Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states).
Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care.
24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method.
Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan.

Age Limits
Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll.
Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.
Waiting Period
A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
