Thank you Pet’s Best!

Once submitted, my claim was approved within 48 hours! Very straightforward processes. Only reason I did not give five stars is due to the lack of pre approvals. Knowing my dog’s surgery would have been covered ahead of time would have been extremely helpful.

Claims process is slow

Claims process takes quiet awhile regardless of what type of claim is submitted -even if you have all the proper paperwork. Typically have to wait 30-40 days to get processed. Occasionally receive a “delay in process” email on the 20th day. Good benefits but slower process.

Do not trust this insurance company

Do not trust this insurance company! They are dishonest and even manipulated the invoices from the Doctor claiming no coverage because Arianna passed away so claim is consider “ Post Mortem. “ They are taking your money and not paying claims we plan to file suit so they don’t don’t treat someone else the same way very dishonest company and we will expose them !!!

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
