For anyone out there who shares their life with a furry friend, you know the fear of unexpected vet bills. That's why I'm writing this glowing review for Pets Best Insurance. They've been an absolute lifesaver for my dog Zoe and me over the past two years. Two years ago, my sweet Zoe started exhibiting signs of discomfort and having accidents. A trip to the vet confirmed our worst fears: bladder stones. The diagnosis was followed by a whirlwind of tests, consultations, and ultimately, surgery. Needless to say, the cost was daunting. Thankfully, we had the foresight to enroll Zoe in a pet insurance plan with Pets Best Insurance. Their claims process was incredibly smooth and efficient. They reviewed the bills quickly, and I received reimbursement for a significant portion of Zoe's treatment within a few days of each submission. This financial support was a game-changer. Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
