Glad I chose Pets Best

Glad I chose Pets Best. The claim process is easy, payments are relatively prompt, and the service to talk with a vet or vet tech is extremely helpful. I had one situation where I questioned their refusing a claim and after further info from my vet the claim was paid. Great company! I strongly recommend.

Pet's Worst.

This is the worst pet insurance company I've ever worked with. It takes them literal MONTHS to process simple claims, and they deny every single one of them. I paid so much for insurance and never did get reimbursed for even one cent. Ever. Their rates are cheaper than some of the others, but that's because they don't pay out on claims. You're not saving any money by choosing Pet's "Best". Try Nationwide or Spot ... much better.

Very costly .....My policy went up a lot in price with…

My policy went up a lot in price with the renewal I was not happy about that. Also I am paying a co pay on every bill I submit per item, copay for the visit I can understand but why copay on her meds? I am now seeing if the monthly cost is really worth it.

THE VERY BEST!!

This is be best pet insurance group we could have possible asked for. We had to put our little 4 year old puppy to sleep and every time I call the staff are the most sensitive and compassionate you could ever ask for. Not to mention the insurance company stands behind what they say! They exceeded our expectation.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
