Longterm customer !

I just came to say I had PetsBest for my English bully since he was a baby. We unexpectedly had to say goodbye almost 2 weeks ago. Getting him insurance was the best thing I ever did! They paid out everytime and they had really great customer service. If I didn’t have the insurance I wouldn’t have even got him as long as I did. I hope every pet parent highly considers and gets it as a puppy! People that get insurance later after animals have had health problems don’t understand that it’s preexisting. Even when you sign up they say no preexisting. I feel like the negative reviews are people who don’t understand insurance. Anyways no one asked me to write this. I genuinely just wanted PetsBest to know how much I appreciated their service and when I’m ready for another furry friend I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

Very easy to use for a stress pet parent

The process of filing a claim is very straight forward- it asks you for a itemized list of the charges for medical work done to your pet which was always provided to me at the end of an appointment. They also ask for proof of payment, the easiest way for me was to provide a screenshot from my banking app that showed the charge from the vet’s office. My only gripe is that claims were usually solved in about 2 weeks which I understand they may have a mass volume to deal with. Every time my claim was reviewed I got a clear explanation of my benefits that indicated whether it was applied to my deductible, denied or accepted and a payout was coming my way. Very nice and reassuring to work with pets best!

Pets Best - No Hassles Reimbursement

claims story: "I have Pets Best insurance on both my dogs. Never expected our Border Collie would develop an issue a few days after his 3rd birthday. PetBest was there for us and had no issues covering the Primary Vet, Veterinary Ophthalmologist and Veterinary Dermatologist along with the medications. Absolutely no issues or challenges for reimbursement. Ty to Pests Best."

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
