Best insurance ever!!

Had a huge emergency with our mini dachshund with a ruptured disk and paralysis on the hind end. Ended up with a giant bill. Thank goodness for this insurance. Easy to file the claim and a super-fast payment covering most of it. So grateful!!!

I called customer service and can't…

I called customer service and can't talk to anyone that can explain if I buy the brand of over the counter medicine, on your formulary, for Whiskey, who was diagnosed with Pancreatic insufficiency, whether it will be covered. Then I was told no one can answer that question, this is like property insurance, not medical insurance. This isn't a proper way to run a pet medical Insurance service. It would be nice if someone could answer my question.

Wonderful!!

I’ve been a Pets Best customer for 2 years now, and I can confidently say they have been absolutely wonderful. They’ve covered everything included in my plan without any issues, and their claims process has always been smooth and straightforward. Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
