The claim process is simple

The claim process is simple, what is an is not covered is clearly and respectfully explained. When I get reimbursed, I receive it in the time frame they tell me. I wish all insurance worked this way.

Easy to file claim

"I never worry about submitting a claim with Pets Best. All that is required from me is to fill in minimal information and attach a copy of my receipts / backup for Toby. I leave the rest to Pets Best and wait for the claim to be processed at which time a determination letter is sent to me via email. The entire process goes pretty quickly. If I have any questions after receiving the determination, I call Pets Best and speak with an agent. I've found that the agents are very informative, listen well to my questions and are good at explaining in a way that I understand easily. I am a satisfied customer."

Pet's Best makes claims easy

We recently took one of our cats in for a spay, when she got there they told us she would need to have all of her teeth removed because she had stomatitis and was in pain and would continue to be in pain until they were removed. We had no choice but to pay almost $1,000 when we were only expecting a couple hundred. Thankfully we were able to recoup a good portion of that thanks to Pet's Best. I was able to upload my documents from my phone and they handled the rest. My kitty's recovery was a bit hard on her, but thankfully the process to submit claims through Pet's Best was not. We received our reimbursement in about a week after we were notified our claim was approved. All in all, great experience.

Pets best is, without a doubt, the best pet insurance on the market. Easy claims, fast reimbursement, such an incredible experience for my big guy! I have recommended my vet to recommend them to their customers!

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
