Terrific

My pet has cancer. She has had 3 surgeries to remove low grade malignant tumors over the last two years. The first two were minor; the last was not. It was also 4x more expensive. Your company was terrific. You turned the claim in ten days. My own health care insurance won't do that. Many thanks.

Pets Best - Excellent coverage and service

My dog has had a couple bouts of intestinal problems over the past six months. I filed two claims and both were resolved extremely quickly (within a week) and both covered very high percentages of my cost - 80% in total, between both.In general, with Pets Best, the premium and co-pay are very reasonable. I'm extremely pleased.

Prompt and fair

I have been renewing my dog's insurance policy for several years. During that time I submitted bills on more than one occasion and I was always happy with the result.This time my dog had ultrasound and colonoscopy to get a diagnosis for his persistent bloody stools. I received reimbursement for my expenses shortly after submitting the bills. As always, they were generous.

Pet owners Best, as well.

My little beagle,Duffy, was hit by a car and suffered ruptured diaphragm. His liver and intestines were in his chest. He also had multiple breaks in his pelvic bone. Both surgeries happened within 24 hours and he is now in physical therapy. Pets Best made all the difference in the world in taking the financial stress off of me. Filing the claim was fast and easy and the monies were in my bank within the week. I highly recommend that all pet owners make the wise decision to insure their loved ones with this outstanding company. Hopefully, you will not need it but if you do they are there.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
