Overall, I Am Extremely Satisf…

Overall, I am extremely satisfied. Claims are very easy to fill out which is what I love and since I now fax my claims, it makes a difference in the response time as opposed to US mail. The breakdown at times, takes me a little time to understand but once I take the time and focus, I get it. But what I love most, is the easy to complete forms. Also great customer response and support when I call. Never have to wait and questions are answered quickly in a polite and helpful manner. Thanks! Great job overall

My Dog Has Canine Lupus, It Ac…

My dog has canine lupus, it acts up occasionally, and she needs extra meds, besides her daily two meds to keep her in check. An ongoing concern, but thankful I was wise enough when she was a pup to purchase health insurance for her.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
