I Am Seriously Thinking Of Cancel...

I am seriously thinking of cancelling my insurance with pets best, because I rarely ever get reimbursement on a claim, because of the $500 deductible per incident/illness......not worth the $25.00 per month that can go towards the vet bills that I am paying.

Pets Best Saved Our Pup. When He ...

Pets Best saved our pup. When he was 15 weeks old he chewed on the plug to an electrical cord and was electrocuted. He had a seizure and went into shock. He wouldn't be here today if my husband didn't rush him to the pet hospital right away. And he couldn't have done that without the security of knowing we had pet insurance to cover the heavy financial weight of the accident. Their claims process was easy and fast — we were reimbursed within 4 days. I'm forever grateful.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
