Pets Best | Pet Insurance Review

I took both of my cats in for wellness checks as I do every year. A few days later I submitted the claims and was immediately notified they were received. A day or so later I was notified they were approved and very quickly received payment. All insurance claims should be so easy and fast!!!

You always hear horror stories about filing claims with pet health insurance companies, but my experience with Pets Best has been wonderful. I bought their accident insurance policy for my two dogs when they were puppies (2015 and 2016) because they are incredibly active and love to run and play with each other. The policy is reasonably priced and covers most things that can occur in an accident. I have never had to use it until just recently (October 2017). My dog Chloe lacerated her foot on a Sunday afternoon (of course) and had to be seen on an emergent basis and have surgery to repair it. I filed my claim on October 6 with a copy of the paid invoice and immediately received an e-mail letting me know that my claim was received. While the claim was processing, I was able to log in to the website to see the status of my claim and 8 days after submitting my claim it was approved and paid. Pets Best provided me with an e-mail notification regarding the payment and I also received a letter in the mail. I opted for direct deposit into my checking account and it was there a day or so after the claim was paid. There was no quibbling over items on the invoice and no questions. This was easier than submitting a claim to my own health insurance company. I would definitely recommend Pet's Best !

It's been an easy process for the last two years that I have had Bubba. When I come back from the vet, I fax the invoice and the doctor's report, and within a couple of days, I get a response from PetsBest. It could not be easier.
