A VERY SATISFIED CLIENT

I am so glad that I got Pets Best Health Insurance for Missy. It sure took the sting out of having to pay the entire cost for her veterinary service when she fell ill recently. I submitted the claim and Pets Best processed it in a jiffy. I highly recommend Pets Best to all pet owners.

Worthless

We took our dog to ER for ear infections and it turned out that was allergies which he had allergies history before so they won’t covered any part of medical bill..I called them and was disappointed about it. The lady said it is not their fault, if I have problems, I should call the vet and question them about it...What kind a service is that?

Horrible experience

They didn't cover a single claim that we submitted and often denied under the pretext of a "preexisting condition", even though none of the claims were related to any such condition. I would highly recommend going elsewhere for your pet's coverage needs.

Exceptionally compassionate service and hassle-free reimbursement

I have a cancer-only policy for my greyhounds. Two of them were diagnosed with osteosarcoma (bone cancer) within a 2 month period. Pets Best was exceptionally helpful, kind, compassionate and efficient. They helped me through a process that I imagined would be difficult - it was actually very straightforward to submit my claim.. I was grieving the loss of my two boys and they made the process of reimbursement very hassle-free. I also felt that they were extremely considerate and caring. They genuinely wanted to help me . Very impressed and pleased, and I've added coverage for our 2 new greyhounds.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
