Thrilled!

I woke up with tears of joy today...Our new dog Lola has proven to be unique and more to handle than any of my other dogs. She is only 10 months old tomorrow and has been to the ER 3 times for various reasons. Right after Christmas she had to have surgery and I feared she wasn't going to make it. I also stressed out about the mounting credit card charges I was having accrue for her. Pets Best has been a blessing for us and I couldn't be more thankful I selected them over the other companies. I have referred them out and will continue to do so. Thank you for being our dogs insurance company, for being understanding with our new puppy and for giving us the benefit of the doubt!

good customer service and claim

I got to have Pets Best because discount offer from my employer. Never have pet insurance before do it's difficult to understand at the beginning. With help from supervisor (forgot nAme), help me understand that first claim they need to verify many thing fist and after the first claim, it's a relief. And it's true. I didn't have any problem from 2nd claim. And fast result with nice reimbursement. I will keep and recommend Pets Best to anyone. Thanks

They would not cover the type of medication vet recommended

They would not cover the type of dewormer my vet administered at time of vet visit even though policy states that they should. Also alliance for vet visit is not enough. My vet charges $12 more than the allowed benefit. The alliances are not up to date with the cost of living.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
