Excellent customer service
Pets Best has always provided me with excellent customer service. From the ease of submitting claims online to their keeping me well-informed of the status of my claims, and fair payments with direct deposit, they make the whole process a breeze. My last claim was for the hospitalization of my dog with heart disease and subsequent euthanasia. It was a big bill (over $3,000) and they paid the majority of it based upon my coverage within a week of submission, which I really appreciated. Then they sent me an email of condolences and automatically canceled my policy so I didn't have to deal with it at this difficult time. I wish all businesses would function like Pets Best. They are truly the best pet insurance around and I highly recommend them to anyone needing insurance.

Easy and fast
The claims process is always easy and fast. I have been using Pet's Best since my veterinary practice recommended you about five years ago, and I have always been satisfied. Your customer service is outstanding.

Experience overall was excellent
My pet was suddenly diagnosed with Addison's disease after suffering an Addison's crisis which required emergency hospitalization. The claims process was easy and timely, my experience overall was excellent.

Best Decision I Ever Made!!
Being new to the whole pet insurance thing I was a little hesitant but after much research I found Pets Best to be the company with the best coverage and at a reasonable price. The claim process has been very easy and painless. I am informed of the status at all times and payment is prompt. Best decision I ever made!
Monthly Cost
$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.
Coverage
Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible.
Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states).
Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care.
24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method.
Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.
Payout Limits
$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan.
Unlimited lifetime limits.
Deductible
$50 – $1,000 annually.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll.
Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.
Waiting Period
A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
