Love PB

I knew after my last cat who died from cancer and all those vet bills I should look into pet insurance for my next cat. Well I opted for two kittens and immediately I searched for pet insurance. I was skeptical, I admit. I found pets best and they seemed to provide more than some others like the wellness program. I signed up. A few days later I take the kittens to their first vet appointment and submit a wellness claim. That was Tuesday, it's now Friday of the same week and I already have my reimbursement in my bank! I am absolutely thrilled! Unless something drastically changes going forward, I am sold, convinced and no longer skeptical. Love pets best!

My Vet office submits the claim and then followed up with requested documentation. Claim processed quickly, EOB within 7 days of service.

Thank you for all the work you do!

I took Spotter in because I thought he still had a splinter or foxtail in between his toes. It turned out I got the foxtail out and he had an infection. So, because I only have accidental insurance, it was not put towards my deductible, which is understood. I thank you for all the work you do ! :) He's all better!

We were so thankful for Pets Best

We took our little dog Milo in to the Vet to check out a lump on his belly. It turned out to be cancerous. He went in to surgery the next day. The procedures were costly, but we were determined to do whatever it took to save our fur baby. We submitted the claims to Pets Best via the website. They acknowledged them right away and quickly processed the payments to be deposited directly into our back account. We couldn't have been more satisfied with the process. Thankfully, our little guy came out of the surgery cancer free! Great outcomes all the way around! We were so thankful for Pets Best wonderful service. Having the insurance was so worth it for these types of circumstances.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
