We didn't have to hesitate

We are so glad we signed up for Pets Best insurance when we got our Lab puppy eleven years ago! When he has had illness or injury, we didn't have to hesitate to get him the care he needed due to worry about finances.

Representative was helpful

I submitted the claim online after scanning my documents. It was very easy to follow the instructions and I immediately got a confirmation email that my claim was received. When I didn't hear anything regarding my claim, I called your office and the representative was very helpful and honest about why there was a delay in my claim. I received a decision about my claim a few days later.

Hassle free

As always filing our dogs claims with Pets Best has always been hassle free. We have had our dog on Pets Best insurance since she came into our family 10 years ago. From the time we submit a claim to receipt of the EOB and claim payment it takes no more than 10 days. Once Pets Best receives the claim we receive an email and within a few short days the EOB and if there is reimbursement due the money is directly deposited into our account at our bank. Human health insurance claims processing should be this easy!!

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
