My dog ate a rock!

My dog dug up a rock and accidently ate it. It was stuck in his intestines for 3 days, and wouldn’t pass. He wasn’t eating or drinking during that time. It was such a relief knowing he had insurance, that there was no doubt about not doing surgery when the Emergency Vet recommended it. He probably would have died from infection otherwise. The claim process is so easy. You just download the Vet bill and hit submit. The claim is then deposited into my bank acct. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the claim took over 4 weeks to process, otherwise they are great!

Remi is a healthy 4 year old dog and…

Remi is a healthy 4 year old dog and out of the blue came down with a fever and started bleeding out of his nose. Luckily, he is ok now with it just being that he sniffed something up his nose and dislodged it on his own, but when it was happening the last thing I could think of was how we were paying for all of it. Thankfully we have Pets Best so we didnt have to worry as much knowing that most of it would be covered. Thank you SO much for everything you guys do and helping Remi out!

I love them they offer great coverage for my animals filing a claim is quick easy and not a hassle. I love the newsletters sent to me! I recommend them to any pet owner seeking to buy insurance for their pets!!!!

Good service

It is a bit expensive for my almost 17 year-old cat, but it covers almost 100% of her more often health issues. The company takes a while to reimburse claims.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
