Pets Best came to our rescue.

Excellent customer service, compassionate and knowledgable every time I need to call. We inherited Murphy after his owner, our daughter, unexpectedly passed away in October. Pets Best has helped us through the process of changing the policy to our name and helping us in any way.

Ever since I got Pets Best Insurance…

Ever since I got Pets Best Insurance I've never regretted it it's helped out so much with my babies bills. He's more than just a dog he's family and thank you for offering the coverage that you offer it's affordable the co-pays only $100 and you pay out 90%. It's a win-win. I highly recommend friends and family to get pets best I even show them my claims of how much pets best has paid out so they could see how affordable it is and what the coverages are. Thanks again pets best for taking care of my family member.

If you can wait a month for reimbursement and don't want your full benefits, go for it

This company takes a month or more to process claims and always has an excuse as to why certain things aren't covered at the level you selected. For example, I have a $250 deductible and 70% coverage on my cat. After a $3k vet bill, they reimbursed me $1k. Why? There were services the vet billed for that Pet's Best didn't cover. I don't want to hear that. If the vet deemed it necessary and billed for it, Pet's Best should reimburse me 70% of it after my $250 deductible.

Flat out the turn around time for…

Flat out the turn around time for processing claims is extremely slow. I feel that some treatments that were once covered by the wellness portion of the policy are no longer being covered they way they were in the past. I will not be renewing my policy.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
