Best Choice I Made
I would repeat my decision to get Pets Best in a heartbeat. I got it when I got my 4 lb. Chihuahua/Basenji mix at 4 months old. She's now 4 and we had our first major vet experience. I was able to make the necessary decisions for her care because I knew she had coverage. The claims process took mere minutes and my bank had the check about a week later. There were no surprises.

Awesome pet insurance!!
Quick turn around on the reimbursement. I never thought I would need the pet insurance until my boy got sick. I am so thankful I have it and I chose Pets Best. Thank you for the excellent service and the quick reimbursement.

So glad I switched to Pets Bets!
I had been a customer of another pet insurance company for over 7 years, and I had been happy with that company until they significantly increased the premiums (almost doubling). At that point I decided to shop around, thoroughly read reviews, and decide on a new insurance company. I went with Pets Best because of the positive reviews from existing customers, and a very competitive premium. I liked the ability to set your deductible and copay amounts and see how the premiums change accordingly. I really liked the multi-pet discount. They even offer supplemental coverages like routine care (flea and tick prevention, heartworm tests, etc.), which I didn’t happen to enroll in but I might consider in the future. Now, I understood that the average claims processing time was a little higher than what I’d been used to from my previous insurance company, but that didn’t bother me much and was an easy trade-off for the premium and service. And I have to say, Pets Best has far exceeded my expectation for claims handling time after all. The explanation of benefits documents are easy to understand.

My dog have a surgery last Monday and after 7 days the money was in my account.

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.
Coverage
Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible.
Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states).
Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care.
24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method.
Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.
Payout Limits
$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan.
Unlimited lifetime limits.

$50 – $1,000 annually.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll.
Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.
Waiting Period
A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
