Not really a good choice

I got some bad customer service, tooks more than a week to hear anything about my claim. Even though they cover visits and medication, they denied it. No point in paying for the insurance if they are not going to help pay expenses when you need them.

Do not purchase-rip off alert

I was referred to this program after finding a feral cat that I thought would need some additional care. They accepted my payments without question but within two months I discovered she had a condition that required she have her teeth removed due to an infection. The surgery was over $2000 but necessary. Pet claims has refused to pay any of the bill even though my insurance detail said it would pay 90 percent. This is like every other insurance company. They have no intention of paying anything. I do think they pay for dogs per other people I know but I have seen this issue with cats. This company should be shut down. They are always willing to take money but not willing to pay out. It also mysteriously took three months for them to decide they would not pay the claim all while they still took my monthly payment. These are the very worst types of people and companies. Frankly, I am disgusted.

Best Pet Insurance Available.

Dixie had her yearly wellness checkup, extensive for a one year old puppy. Claim was processed in less than a week. We have had Pest Best for a 9 years on Abby our older Yorkie, never an issue with claims, always paid what the policy we selected covered. Getting another Yorkie, Dixie we immediately bought her policy. at 6 months old she broke her left leg, the cost were astronomical in getting the operation, surgical follow ups, medication and checkups. Pets Best saved us financially, thank you, thank you I can't express that enough. Highly Recommended...

Great experience with Pet’s Best! When I spoke with the representative, she assured me that my dog was covered. It was very comforting!! My reimbursement check arrived in a timely manner. Great company! I am recommending to all my friends with pets!

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
