The wait time for the claim…

The wait time for the claim reimbursement took a little longer than it should have but overall I am satisfied with the claim and my reimbursement.

1000% Recommend!

I am absolutely satisfied with Pets Best pet insurance, especially their claim process. This is our second pup with this insurance company and I have yet to have any issues. The process is very simple and they are quick to process the claims. I’ve done everything through the app with no issues. I highly recommend Pets Best, not only for their claims process but coverage and affordability. I love knowing that our Chloe girl is fully covered.

Go somewhere else

I have had a policy for over a year. Every claim has been denied. When I inquire as to why they reply that they needed more info and had contacted my vet NUMEROUS times with no result. My vet told me they had only one request when I first took out the policy but nothing since then. When I filled out a survey they asked about any concerns. I asked why they did not contact me if they had no success reaching my vet - no response. This is unacceptable. My claims are for meds that they say are covered, They also claim that only 10% of claims need more info from vet. I have wasted over $800. I wonder if they will contact me after this review?

Pets Best is overwhelmed with claims and it has been impossible to get in contact with them. When my one and only claim is process we will be shopping for other pet insurance

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
