No action on claim long after 30 days

Do not recommend. It is long past the 30 days past claim and there is no action. Not a denial, just "waiting" for review. It is a waste of money and you will not be helped.

Fantastic as always!

Pets best is always fantastic, makes it easy to care for my pets when they are sick without having to worry about finances. Customer support is always easy to reach, and are very supportive and compassionate. Highly recommend!

Worst pets insurance company

By far the worst. Not a throughout investigation, and no proper notes of why claims are denied or if there are any medical reports needed. Customer service has no empathy and takes months to have a claim processed. Look for another company. Not recommended.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
