Submitting claims for our pet is especially simple! The claims department processes them quickly and any reimbursement is given within days!

Best decision I made was getting this pet insurance
I have peace of mind knowing Nationwide makes it affordable for me to get my dog the care he deserves when he is not as his best. Claim process is always easy and money is reimbursed quickly which helps alot.

Thank you for everything
2020 has been a tough year and Covid didn’t help but Nationwide sure did! We didn’t realize how sick Maggie, our Coton de Tulare, was & she passed quickly after her diagnosis but so thankful Nationwide helped us for all our vet costs and cremation! We soon noticed Coco, our Westie was missing Maggie and she needed a check up! Thank you Nationwide for covering her last vet bill. Since I was furloughed due to Covid, I struggled to know if I could cover the bill, but so thankful Nationwide was there to help me.

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage.
The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.
Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.
Age Limits
No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
