Nationwide Pet Insurance Makes It Easy

I have been skeptical to buy pet insurance because having worked in a vet office years ago I had seen horror stories of folks trying to get reimbursed for their claims. I am elated to say this was 100% NOT the case with Nationwide. After my dog's surgery Nationwide made the filing easy and walked me through every part of the claims process. I was reimbursed quickly as well. I am a fan! Thanks for providing great service so that we pet owners can focus on taking care of our 4 legged family members!

Knowing that we had Nationwide saved us from panic when our dog got injured.

We could tell our toy poodle was in pain and she cried whenever we tried to pick her up. Our regular vet sent us to the emergency vet hospital for the diagnostic work that she needed. After an MRI, she was diagnosed with a herniated disk and had to have surgery. The vet bills were mounting, and I was starting to panic because it was getting very expensive. After a deep breath, I remembered I had Nationwide Pet coverage and the relief was immediate. We could then concentrate on getting our dog well. She has recovered 100%. Nationwide paid our claims promptly, and without any glitches. Fantastic company! I recommend them highly.

Nationwide Pet Insurance is unbelievably good, in coverage, claims, and speed.

I continue to be amazed with the amount of coverage offered, the ease of filing a claim, and the efficiency with which the claim is evaluated and paid. Pet insurance is never inexpensive, but I think Nationwide provides the greatest dollar value for Pet Insurance.

Not happy

My French Bulldog ripped her vulva from repeated scooting. She has allergies. She scratches everything & gets yeast in places! The vet suggested cutting back the wrinkles and skin folds to alleviate moisture and yeast. Nationwide decided her wrinkles are a congenital Defect and refused to pay for the surgery. I could not afford it but had to have it done for the sake If my dog! Nationwide will find a way to twist the symptoms so they fit in the fine print of a congenital defect to avoid paying for surgery. I just got a new puppy and am shopping around for a different insurance company for her. That really sucks.
