Great service and support

I’ve tried other pet insurance providers and none have been as easy to use and supportive as nationwide. It’s so easy to put in a claim and when I have questions the support staff is delightful!

Claims are fast, easy, and convenient

I can’t believe how easy it was to file a claim! In just a couple minutes I was done and received a response with confirmation that the check was in the mail within just a couple days! I’m very impressed and we’re so happy we went with Nationwide.

Nationwide pet insurance has been a life saver at this point with our Roxie.

We had rescued a Bulldog Boxer mix a 1 1/2 years ago and she is going to be 3 this November. She has so much energy and after reading up on the breed we had decided to get insurance for her. THANK GOODNESS we did, she has been to the vet multiple times which would have cost us a lot of out of pocket money.

I've had pet insurance with other companies and none of them are as good as Nationwide. Easy claim process, fast processing, extremely fast pay out. Love it.

Terrific pet insurance

This was about as easy and straight-forward as it gets. We had an unexpected ER pet visit that was quite costly. We submitted the claim and it was paid promptly. We are really pleased with Nationwide Pet Insurance. Happily, Olive Oyl has recovered well.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
