Nationwide | Pet Insurance Review

We have been using Nationwide for 3-4 years and they have expansive coverage and an easy claims process. I have not had any issues with the company thus far. I would highly recommend them!

In the middle of today's world of "what's going to happen next", my dog needed emergency back surgery to repair a couple discs so he could walk again without pain. Thankfully I had Nationwide on my side, and they covered 90% of the cost of this sudden and very expensive surgery including an MRI and a couple days in recovery at the animal hospital. I can't tell you how much I appreciated them taking care of the financial side of things so I could focus on the care and rehabilitation of my baby. The best part was that they reimbursed me within a week of filing the claim. So anyone who's hesitating about buying a policy from Nationwide...don't! As a health insurance agent myself, I know insurance carriers and they are top notch!

We've had Nationwide Insurance since Walker was a puppy. He turned 3 on Monday! Nationwide has delivered on its promise to ease the financial burden of taking care of unexpected medical expenses. We had a different pet insurance company for our previous dog and in 6 years of coverage, they paid a small part of only one medical bill. Nationwide has been helpful, efficient, easy to work with. I have recommended them to several friends with pets.

Good customer service. Premium increases are troubling. I keep the insurance primarily for possible catastrophic emergencies.

When I call your customer service number, everyone has been friendly and helpful. They answer my questions and are eager to help! The claims process is easy and fast with no hassles! I feel at ease knowing that Coco is getting the best care and I’m confident that Nationwide is there if ever I need them. Nationwide is definitely on our side!
