Doing what is expected
Honestly, the insurance has served us well over the years. Ming's brother Ziggy had 2 cancer operations and he is still with us relatively ok after 2 more years.
I cancelled his insurance after the 2nd surgery as I don't believe he could take another operation. Both Shar-Peis are well beyond avg expected life spans 13 yrs and still ok. But the insurance keeps going up every year. Ming has never really had a sick day. If we don't keep paying it will all be wasted on him. So it seems after you have invested for 13 years, you dare not quit. But that is the nature of insurance. ALL in all Nationwide has paid the claims and in reasonable time. And it was very handy when we needed it for the operations.

outstanding service and coverage
I've had coverage for over 15 years, the service makes everything so easy. there is nothing worse than finding out you can't afford treatment for you pet. With coverage you can feel good about caring and treating your pets. It Takes the worry away, and keeps you from having to make a horrible decision.

The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.
Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.
Age Limits
No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
